Located on St. Mary's, the largest of the archipelago of the Isles of Scilly, the GARRISON CAMPSITE is ideally situated for a wonderful camping experience. There are some superb views from the site and a few yards walk opens up a vista of breath-taking proportions.

While photos give an insight into the physical attributes of the site, we think there is a bit more to the place than just the physical! Camping here, you will experience a truly relaxed atmosphere, even during the 'Peak Season'. Separate fields on a nine-and-a-half acre site ensure a degree of intimacy and privacy.

We have two fully-equipped toilet blocks: hot showers, toilets, washing up facilities, etc. One of the blocks has a well-equipped laundry. A limited number of electrical hookups are available (must be reserved in advance). There is also a small shop on site.

Campers return year on year - making new friends and renewing old ones. Ted and Barbara usually catch up on twelve months news with each sailing of the 'Scillonian III'. What's more, most of the regulars catch up with last years events on Scilly!

Family run and family orientated. Large enough to retreat into a quite corner and remain anonymous if so desired. Small enough to be intimate and involved with. The choice is yours.

Near to 'Town' so that all the local amenities are accessible. Far enough away so that the 'Bright Lights' of Hugh Town do not interfere with the site.

We provide a luggage transport service from and to the ferry (not the airport) for a small charge. We ask that all items are labelled "Garrison Holidays", as we collect gear off every sailing of the Scillonian III. Taxis are available from the airport should guests decide to fly.

There are adequate hand carts on the site to transport kit to your pitch. Our guests do not have to carry heavy tents and suitcases: we do try to make things as easy as possible.

For the well-being of all our guests, no motor vehicles and no dogs are permitted on the the Garrison campsite.
